BRIEF
As one of the brands pillars is to inspire, the logo is based on an abstract shooting star, expressing how the event is an opportunity to make athletes dreams come true. The ‘shooting star’ aspect of the logo is also used as a branding device throughout the launch assets, hugging the edge of the artwork to reinforce the brand aesthetic. The ring surrounding nods towards the Olympic rings, therefore hinting at a sporting event to those in the community. A vibrant colour scheme made up of five colours was vital to reflect a community-based movement that transcends nationality, race, creed, gender, age or social status. It creates a place for people of all abilities.
